Miami: Terrorists
commemorate the anniversary of Orlando Bosch’s death
with attack

As a result of the scandalous
tolerance shown by U.S. authorities toward anti-Cuban
terrorism, a bombing during the early morning hours
of April 27 destroyed the offices of Airline Brokers
in Coral Gables, Florida, one of eight companies
with licenses to organize trips to Cuba.

occurred shortly after Orlando
Bosch’s widow called for a commemoration
of the anniversary of her husband’s death.

The attack created an intense fire
which left the recently renovated office pulverized,
in ashes, according to the owner, Vivian Mannerud,
who reported that she had not received any
communication from the perpetrators.
The terrorist attack occurred just
hours after the widow of Orlando Bosch publicly
called for commemoration of his death in Miami one
year ago. Bosch was head, for over a decade, of CORU,
the most dangerous anti-Cuban terrorist group
supported by the CIA (United Revolutionary
Organizations Coordination).
Law enforcement officials told El
Nuevo Herald that the fire was "deliberate." They
declined further comment, and asked for anonymity
because they were not authorized to comment on the
case.
According to local press reports,
Deborah Cox, spokesperson for the State Fire
Marshal's office, said that the cause of the fire
was being investigated by the FBI, the Alcohol,
Tobacco and Firearms Bureau and the Coral Gables
Fire Department.
Vivian Mannerud, proprietor and
executive president of Airline Brokers, confirmed
that investigators had not, as yet, given her any
information about the cause of the fire.
It is publicly known in South
Florida that local judicial authorities and notably
the FBI, not only neglect to investigate Cuban-American
terrorists, but in fact protect them, to the point
of arresting, prosecuting and imprisoning the Cuban
Five who had infiltrated their ranks.
Adriana Bosch spoke over the
airwaves on Radio Mambí announcing that on April
28th a "tribute" to Orlando Bosch would take place "on
the occasion of the first anniversary of his death."
Bosch’s widow was accompanied by
Antonio Esquivel, President of the Junta Patriótica
Cubana, which sponsored the event. February 17,
2006, Antonio Esquivel, along with other gang
leaders and terrorists, such as Tony Calatayud, from
the Cuban National Congress (CNC); Rodolfo Frómeta,
from Comandos F-4, and Alpha 66 military commanders
announced the creation of a committee to "bring down
with bombs" the Cuban Revolution.
In the 1970’s and 80’s, there were
dozens of bombings in the Miami area by different
bands of anti-Cuban terrorists who unleashed a
veritable war.
In the 1960’s, the CIA created a
‘station’ in Miami with a multi-million dollar
budget to create these groups which redoubled their
efforts within Cuban territory. The agency trained
terrorists who not only attacked targets in Cuba but
in other Latin American countries as well.
Luis Posada Carriles, CIA agent and
co-author with Bosch of the 1973 in-flight bombing
of a Cuban airliner which killed all passengers
aboard, is the most well-known of this group,
currently living a quiet life in Miami. He is a
chemical explosive specialist who has never
renounced his terrorist practice and has boasted, on
several occasions, of his excellent relations with
the FBI. What connection might he, or his friends,
have to this attack?
